Vandenberg & Wildeboer Architects Inc. is an award winning design firm located at the edge of the high-tech business center of Ottawa in Kanata. By design, we are a smaller firm that enables us to provide direct service to our clients from initial planning and concept sketches, to development of technical details, through to on-site reviews during construction. Each of our valued team members has been with us for years, and has varied and extensive experience within their particular area of expertise. As can be seen from our portfolio, whether a small cottage, a large church, or an office renovation, we undertake projects where we can reflect our client's particular vision and requirements.
To display some of our design sensibilities we created our own "Sense of Place" to work in. We purchased a derelict heritage building and transformed it into our own design studio, winning an Award of Excellence along the way from the City of Ottawa.
We understand that not everyone can picture what a space might actually feel like by looking at two dimensional technical drawings. Therefore we use the latest in 3D computer modeling technology and have established the capacity to create "fly around" or "fly-through" multi media presentations to ensure our clients have a full understanding of the buildings and spaces being developed for their "Place". We can communicate in whatever means suits our clients best, from more traditional methods of phone and fax and email, but also via the leading edge of technology via remote desktops solutions that enable efficient liaison even for our out-of-town projects.
